Bio and Professional Background
Esmey Obeng is licensed with the Texas Medical Board of Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She has excellent interpersonal skills and she evaluates children, adolescents, and adults. She strives for a patient-centered perspective while collaborating with patients' families to diagnose and treat mental illness. Esmey completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at University of Dallas, Texas. She then completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Esmey is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
She enjoys reading psychological thrillers, mystery, and suspense books. Her current favorite author is Frieda McFadden. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new places around her to scout (restaurants, parks, new cities) and spending time with family. She would love to travel all continents to learn about culture and enjoy the scenery.
