Kevin M. Windisch MD is a licensed physician and Board-Certified General Pediatrician. He specializes in treating children and adolescents and young adults up to 30 years of age with both medications and behavioral interventions including hypnosis. He has worked with children, adolescents, young adults and families for 25 years. He provides medical evaluations and management for diagnosing and treating ADHD, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorders, bed wetting, hair pulling, tics, chronic headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndromes, and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Windisch education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California Irvine and a Medical Degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Kaiser Foundation Health’s Los Angeles Medical Center in 1999. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and by the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis. He is a 20+ year fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Windisch has a fascination with the undersea world including kelp forests and coral reefs. He is a certified SCUBA instructor and works with Divers Alert Network (DAN) to help injured child, adolescent, and young adult scuba divers. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, traditional Japanese martial arts, photography, playing guitar, and operating HAM radio. His favorite musical tastes are diverse ranging from opera to The Beatles, to hard rock.
